Before the doors open

We started with one wedding and a very long list.

Velvet Hour began in 2014, when our founder planned a friend’s wedding and realised the hard part was never the flowers. It was the four hundred small decisions nobody sees, and the calm needed to make them well.

Today we are a team of nine. We take on a limited number of events each year so that every couple, family and company gets a planner who knows their evening by heart.
